A number of high-profile stars find themselves linked with transfers away from their current teams. Here is a look at a selection of the top figures that could be changing clubs this month.

As his contract set to run out in the summer, this represents the London club's final opportunity to secure a transfer fee for their skipper. Numerous elite clubs, including Manchester City and multiple continental powerhouses like Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Bayern Munich, are believed to hold an interest. Yet, a winter departure is considered difficult, particularly given the manager's reliance on the defender.

Brennan Johnson

The Welsh winger has found starting opportunities hard to come by at Tottenham this campaign. Despite being the club's top scorer the previous campaign, Johnson has started only a small number of league matches. Reports suggest the London outfit is willing to consider a sale for the correct price, believed to be in the region of £40 million. The Cherries appear to be leading the chase, with Aston Villa, Brentford, and Crystal Palace additionally showing an interest.

Spurs rate the Welsh international at around forty million pounds.

Rúben Neves

This Portugal midfielder could be set for a return to the Premier League after a spell in Saudi Arabia. Now only 28, while his contract ending in the summer, he represents a potential bargain. Clubs like Manchester United and Liverpool are connected to the player. Furthermore, there are suggestions from Spain that he would be prepared to take a reduced salary for a move to Real Madrid.

Following impressing at the Under-19 European Championship, he has become a regular in the AZ Alkmaar first team. The 19-year-old is widely expected to complete a big-money move this month. Newcastle are believed to be leading the chase, but could face strong rivalry from Real Madrid for a deal valued at around £22 million.
