This incident caused the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking area.

An additional two individuals have been arrested in connection with a theft at Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals sustained injuries by a substance believed to be pepper spray, as stated by police.

A 24-year-old man, was taken into custody in the Lambeth area for suspected theft and assault and a 23-year-old woman was detained for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. They both are still being held, the force said.

The arrests come after an investigation into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Before the incident, two women were robbed of their suitcases upon exiting a parking garage elevator.

A three-year-old girl was one of the those hurt in the event. A total of five individuals went to hospital for medical care and were later released.

Officers arrested a man in his thirties on suspicion of theft and assault close to the location. He has since been released under investigation while inquiries continue.

Authorities were called at approximately 08:10 GMT following reports of several individuals hurt by a noxious substance thought to be pepper spray.

The assault - which police said was isolated and not considered terrorism - resulted in train delays and the partial closure of the main airport tunnel and the T3 parking facility for a short time.
